Talal Obeid

Born in 1982 in Jahra, Kuwait. Self-taught in graphic design and visual communications, Talal moved on to work on some of the biggest accounts in Kuwait at the early age of 18. He was first noted for his illustration and imagery-making skills, but with time Talal developed an eye for typography and excelled in developing corporate identity solutions that included localizing some of the world's most famous retail brands such as H&M and Footlocker.

From Corporate Identity Systems to single logotypes, Talal has handled a wide range of projects that include, but are not limited to; print ad campaigns, small-to-medium website design, illustrated literature, character design, simple animation sequences for TV, mobile and web.

Aside from graphic design and advertising, Talal is best known for a t-shirts line he started in 2005, which garnered a cult-like following. Talal often lectures on graphic design in universities and private institutes, last of his lectures was to a classroom of 9 year-olds, who were about to start a t-shirt business as their school project.
